About Us We are David and Yvonne Gillett and we bought Bro Meigan Gardens and Tea Room in August 2005 from the previous owners who have now retired. This is a new venture for us having previously worked in Local Government for over 25 years and we are very much enjoying our change of lifestyle and learning about our garden and all that lives and grows here. We are wildlife enthusiasts, birdwatchers and walkers and so in addition to maintaining the existing gardens, we are very interested in developing the garden over the coming years with wildlife in mind. We hope to create habitats that will encourage wildlife. We have already put up bird feeders and nest boxes and already we are seeing many more birds in the garden although the Barn Owl has yet to find his nest box! We also wish to promote the garden as somewhere peaceful to which people can retreat as an alternative to the beach and more boisterous venues. We are privileged to live in a stunning setting overlooking the Preseli Hills and our aim is to widen the appeal of the garden so that the whole experience of the location and its wildlife can be appreciated as much as the planting.
