Birdwatching The region is a paradise for birdwatchers. There are various close offshore islands including Ramsey, Skokholm, Skomer and Grassholme and many are now bird and wildlife sanctuaries of international importance. Sea birds such as Gannets, Shearwaters, and Puffins can be seen here and the rare Chough can be seen from the clifftops.
